Execution Details

Assessment Phase

  1. Select AWS Region: Guide users to select a suitable AWS region where configurations will be applied.
  2. List SNS Topics: Present existing SNS topics in the selected region.
  3. SNS Topic Selection: Allow users to choose between using an existing SNS topic or creating a new one for receiving AWS Health notifications.
  4. Collect Email Addresses: Gather email addresses that will subscribe to the selected SNS topic.
  5. Configure Event Filters: Guide users to specify filtering preferences like event type category and AWS services for AWS Health notifications.

Summary Phase

  • Confirm Configuration: Present a summary of all configurations including region, SNS topic, recipient emails, and event filters. Confirm these details with the user before proceeding.
